SCS Welcomes Peter Kuipers to the Team

Join us in welcoming Peter Kuipers as our Coordinator of Discipleship!

We are excited for Peter to begin this new role at Sheboygan Christian School and look forward to what God has in store for him and our students this year!

Peter has been a music teacher for the past 12 years in northwest Iowa, Washington state, and at Oostburg Christian School. He has a BA in K-12 Music Education from Dordt College and Master of Music in Instrumental Education from American Band College through Central Washington University. However, faith formation and discipleship have been on his heart since high school. In this way, Peter is very excited to step into the new role of coordinator of discipleship at Sheboygan Christian School and invest in the spiritual development of the students as they begin to understand their place in God’s world.

Peter and Jen (middle school/high school art teacher) have been married since 2020 and have one daughter with one on the way. The Kuipers family have returned to Calvin CRC and Peter hopes to be involved with the musical life of the church. In addition to music, he enjoys reading, pizza, donuts, and occasionally running.
