Instructional Positions
Sheboygan Christian School, a parent-governed Pre K–12 school serving over 600 students from more than 50 area churches, is seeking applicants for a FULL TIME MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL ART TEACHER (Grades 6–12).
The ideal candidate will have a Christian worldview, a passion for Christian education, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The ideal candidate will be warm, professional, and collaborative, with strong classroom leadership and a commitment to excellent instruction. In addition, this candidate will be creative, flexible, a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and have a passion for teaching students.
As a middle and high school art teacher, the ideal candidate will foster curiosity and creativity as students develop their skills and express ideas through meaningful engagement in the artistic process.
This position may include teaching responsibilities in middle school art courses for grades 6–8 and/or high school art courses, including foundational and advanced art courses such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and other visual arts electives.
Experience teaching art and familiarity with the Teaching for Transformation framework is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a Christian worldview, a passion for Christian education, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The ideal candidate will be warm, professional, and collaborative, with strong classroom leadership and a commitment to excellent instruction. In addition, this candidate will be creative, flexible, a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and have a passion for teaching students.
This position will cover a 12-week maternity leave beginning approximately mid-November and continuing through mid-February. Responsibilities include teaching fourth grade Bible and science, as well as teaching a section of third, fourth, and fifth grade math.
The ideal candidate will foster a love of learning in their classroom, provide continuity of instruction during the leave, and guide elementary students to grow academically and spiritually through a Christian worldview.
Experience teaching at the elementary level and familiarity with the Teaching for Transformation framework is preferred.

This position will cover a leave of absence beginning approximately January and continuing through March. Responsibilities include teaching all subject areas in a self-contained kindergarten classroom.
The ideal candidate will create a warm, nurturing classroom environment, provide continuity of instruction during the leave, and guide young learners to grow academically, socially, and spiritually through a Christian worldview.

The ideal candidate will have a Christian worldview, a passion for Christian education, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The ideal candidate will be warm, professional, and collaborative, with a commitment to helping all students grow as readers. In addition, this candidate will be organized, data-informed, flexible, an excellent communicator, and have a passion for teaching students.
This position will cover a leave of absence beginning approximately mid-December and continuing through mid-March. Responsibilities include providing targeted reading intervention for students who need additional support in foundational literacy skills, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.
The ideal candidate will continue the reading interventions already in place, provide continuity of support during the leave, and communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student progress.
Experience with reading intervention programs, literacy assessment tools, and the Teaching for Transformation framework is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Elementary Education (#2088), Reading Teacher (#1316), or Reading Specialist (#5017) license
- Reading intervention experience preferred

Non-Instructional Positions
Sheboygan Christian School is seeking a Christ-centered, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable individual to serve as the High School JV Boys Basketball Assistant Coach. This position provides an opportunity to disciple student-athletes while helping them develop their basketball skills, character, and understanding of what it means to compete in a way that honors Jesus Christ.
Working alongside the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach will help cultivate a positive team culture built on faith, integrity, accountability, servant leadership, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and conducting practices that promote skill development, teamwork, and basketball fundamentals.
- Help prepare athletes for games through instruction, organization, and encouragement.
- Foster an environment that emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, discipline, and Christ-like character.
- Support the implementation of the varsity program’s philosophy and long-term player development.
- Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team activities.
- Encourage positive relationships with players, families, officials, and opposing schools.
- Communicate effectively with the Head Coach, Athletic Director, student-athletes, and parents.
- Assist with equipment management, game preparation, and other program needs as assigned.
- Represent Sheboygan Christian School in a professional manner consistent with the school’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects biblical values.
- Agreement with and support of the mission and foundational beliefs of Sheboygan Christian School.
- Knowledge of the game of basketball and a passion for teaching and mentoring high school athletes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, students, parents, and school staff.
- Previous coaching or playing experience is preferred but not required.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks
Sheboygan Christian School is looking for a part-time kitchen assistant to join our team!
- Approximately 4 hours Monday through Friday when school is in session.
- Assist with setting up the cafeteria, checking students in for lunch, cleaning the cafeteria, and assisting where needed.
- This position also fills in a 6 hour shift if needed for scheduling purposes.
