Accounting Clerk

Sheboygan Christian School is currently seeking applications for a Part Time Accounting Clerk.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:                 

Responsible for assisting the Director of Finance and Development in handling the day to day business and accounting operations of the school.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:                 

  • Accounts Payable, including:
    • Issuing purchase orders for approval
    • Collect and process all invoices for payment within the specified due dates, including matching up with purchase orders and delivery tickets  
    • Cutting checks and obtaining appropriate signatures; ensuring that checks are mailed in a timely manner 
    • Maintenance of all vendor records
  • Accounts Receivable, including:
    • Issuing tuition statements and receipt of payments; alerting the Director of Finance and Development of all past due accounts   
    • Collection and accounting for all money received in the office (activity fees, game receipts, student funds, etc.)
    • Preparation and recording of all bank deposits  
  • Assist in managing various school databases 
  • Manage daily cash flow and updating the Director of Finance and Development 
  • Reconciliation of all monthly bank statements
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end reports, as requested by the Director of Finance and Development
  • Assist the administrative staff and auditors with the management and review of the Wisconsin Private School Choice Program
  • Enter and track fixed assets and recording monthly depreciation
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance and Development or Director of Academics

Junior Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach

Sheboygan Christian School is currently seeking applications for a Junior Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach. The ideal candidate will have a Christian worldview, experience working with students in an educational environment, and warm interactions with others. In addition, this candidate will be flexible, collaborative, a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and have a passion for coaching. Experience in coaching high school aged student-athletes is desirable.

Van Drivers

Sheboygan Christian School is currently seeking applications for Van Drivers. School vans are used for the purpose of transporting kids to/from school and also used as transportation to some school events. We are looking for candidates who hold a valid driver’s license, have a strong safety record, are flexible, and will warmly interact with children and adults.
