Elementary School Hot Lunch Announcement

Due to staffing issues related to the current pandemic, we are going to be offering FREE hot lunch to all 5K-5th grade elementary students during the 2nd quarter of school, courtesy of the Sheboygan Area School District.  This will begin next week on Monday, October 26th. Please have your children alert their teacher that they would like hot lunch when asked.  No hot lunch tickets will be needed during the second quarter!  Hot lunch will continue to be served on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Good As New

The Good As New resale store is seeking a part-time employee to join their team! Take this opportunity to join a great team. This person should be at least 17 years old, a self-starter, friendly and reliable. Hours would include Saturdays and possibly other open shifts Wednesday-Friday.  Please send inquiries and resumes to goodasnew@sheboyganchristian.com

If you aren't familiar with Good As New, it is a resale shop located in Cedar Grove, WI that was opened by SCS parents in the 1980s to raise funds to support Sheboygan Christian School. To learn more about Good As New, click here.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

SCS Parents,
We value Partnership. The partnership between the home and school is at the heart of our school's mission. Together, we are preparing our students hearts and minds for service in God's world. Any partnership requires good communication, and that's one of the reasons why we have parent teacher conferences. It's time to sign up for your child's conference.

Parent/Teacher Conference Schedules
  • ES conferences are taking place on Oct. 29th and Nov. 2nd from 5:00-8:00.
  • MS conferences are Nov. 2nd and Nov. 5 from 6:00-9:00.
  • HS conferences are Nov. 5 from 4:00-9:00.

COVID-19 Protocols

Virtual conferences will be available for parents who need to or prefer to run their conferences this way. For those who prefer to meet on-campus in person, in order to abide by state health protocols and to keep our faculty and parents safe during parent/teacher conferences, SCS parents will need to:

  • Wear appropriate face coverings
  • Remain socially distanced at all times in the buildings
  • Perform a self wellness check
  • Have their temperature taken before entering the buildings

Thank you- we very much look forward to connecting with you as we partner in this important mission!
