SCS Welcomes Matt Arentsen to the Team

Join us in welcoming Matt Arentsen as our newest Math Teacher!

Matt will be teaching math to our middle and high school students this year. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Matt grew up on a dairy farm and is a graduate of Cedar Grove – Belgium. He taught middle and high school math for 6 years in the Milwaukee area before moving back to Sheboygan county where he taught high school math for the past 11 years. Matt is excited to join a community dedicated to teaching the next generation about Jesus Christ, and is looking forward to openly integrating his faith into his teaching.

Matt and his wife Tanya have two sons, Josiah and Seth, who attend OCS. The Arentsen family attends Faith Reformed Church in Cedar Grove where Matt has served as a deacon and participates on the mission and outreach teams. As a family they enjoy 4-H, hiking, biking, camping, traveling, disc golf, audiobooks, and volunteering.
