Instructional Interventionist Joins the SCS Team!
Join us in congratulating Roshelle Doornbos!
We are excited to announce that Roshelle Doornbos will be the new instructional interventionist!
Roshelle (Hazeu) Doornbos grew up in Sheboygan and attended Sheboygan Christian School K-12. She is married to Calvin Doornbos and they have four children, Matthias (Freshman), Ezra (7th grade), Titus (3rd grade), and Tabitha (1st grade), who all attend SCS.
After high school, Roshelle went to Dordt College where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Dordt College with a major in Psychology and minors in Sociology and Theatre Arts. That is also where she met and married her husband, Calvin Doornbos. She later went to Marquette University and became a Registered Nurse. She has been a Labor and Delivery and NICU nurse for the last ten years.
Roshelle and her family are members of Christ Community Church, where Roshelle is part of the Youth Ministries team and is the Safe Church Coordinator.
Christian education has always been important to Roshelle and her family, but special education has a special place in her heart. As SCS expands their special education program and a need for an instructional interventionist arose within that program, she was excited to fill that need. The atmosphere at SCS is invigorating and Roshelle feels blessed to be able to experience it firsthand.
