New Middle School Teacher

Join us in welcoming Melissa Kaule as our newest Middle School Teacher!

We are so excited to welcome Melissa Kaule to our middle school teaching team!

Melissa Kaule is a graduate of Syracuse University with degrees in both Communications and English and Textual Studies. She completed her graduate work in Secondary English Education with an extension in Special Education for ages 10-21. She taught Language Arts and students with Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities for SASD and in New York State prior to locating to Sheboygan a second time and becoming a part of the SCS community. Her children, Libby (9th), Finn (7th) and Isla (4th) have attended SCS since 2014, and Melissa has worn multiple hats over the years. From board member to auction chair to discovery term instructor and forensics coach, Melissa has certainly learned her way around both buildings! She is currently the long-term substitute for art grades 1-12 through the rest of the year.

Melissa and her husband Brian are an active part of Crossroads Community Church, leading a Life Group in their home and serving in multiple ministries. Melissa loves to travel and can often be found stowing away for quick get aways to the Happiest Place on Earth. She is also an avid lover of theatre and already has her wheels turning on ways of developing the drama program at SCS to utilize the brand-new beautiful stage!

She is thrilled to be joining the staff here at SCS to combine her love of kids, books, and Christ-centered education. Her personal verse for 2021 is Isaiah 43:19. “See, I am doing a new thing! Do you not perceive it?” Clearly the Lord provided, as she is beginning ‘a new thing’ in middle school this fall!
