SCS WPCP Information
The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) allows eligible families to attend private schools like Sheboygan Christian School at no cost to them. If your child qualifies, their tuition is fully covered through the program. At SCS, WPCP families are fully integrated into the life of our Christ-centered community — your child will receive the same loving, faith-infused education and support as every other student.
WPCP eligibility is based on your family’s income and marital status, your residency, and your child’s grade level or current school enrollment. For example, many families qualify if they are entering kindergarten, 1st grade, or 9th grade — or if their child is transferring from a public school. The income guidelines are set by the state. This can be confusing, but we’re here to help you figure it out! Check out the link below to get guidance as to whether or not you’re likely to qualify for this program.
During the open application windows (see below for more) applications for the WPCP must be submitted through the Wisconsin DPI (Department of Public Instruction) website. The process also requires you to provide documentation that confirms your income and residency. If this feels overwhelming, don’t worry — our admissions team will walk with you step-by-step.
SCS has 4 possible application windows in 2026:
- February 1 through February 20
- March 1 through March 20
- April 1 through April 20
- July 1 through July 20
Admission to Sheboygan Christian School through WPCP depends on seat availability. Some grades fill quickly and may use a waitlist if more students apply than we can accommodate. Even if you’re placed on a waitlist, there’s still a chance your child could be enrolled — we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
