Middle School Students Compete in Lakeland Math Meet

On the evening of November 17, two teams of eight students from our Middle School competed in the 33rd Lakeland University Middle School Math Meet. There were a total of 321 students attending, forming 48 teams representing 15 different schools.

The students took a series of three, 15 minute tests and then worked on a final test as a whole team. It was a great evening starting with a pizza supper prepared by their teachers, Mrs. Atkinson and Mrs. Doornbos, and then spending time exploring some interesting number relationships that are an everyday part of God’s creation.
