Chris Hendrikse

Chris is happily married to Kim (Van Ess) Hendrikse. They have five kids: Noah (Addie), Emma (Kevin) Zaragoza, Sam (Renee), Caleb and Tamiah Johnson. Chris is a graduate of SCS (high school) and SCS (elementary) and has been teaching at SCS since 2000. He has a BS in Biology and his teaching license through Silver Lake College. Chris is also an elder at Breakwater O.P.C. where he and Kim attend church. Chris enjoys working with high school students and is passionate about offering his students a Christ-centered education. He loves getting his students outside the classroom. Highlights each year include the Senior Retreat, the Environmental Science canoe/camping trip in the Sylvania Wilderness and the Discovery Term mission trip to Atlanta.
