Theme Days
September 15 – 19: Get ready to show your school spirit! The spirit week themes are listed below. Everyone is encouraged to dress up for our themed days. The more participation from your class, the more points you can earn toward winning a pizza party! So get creative and have fun with your outfits!

Pep Rally (students only)
All students, 5K-12th grade, will participate in a pep rally during the school day on September 16. This happens to be Blue and Gold day, so we are looking forward to seeing students wear their Eaglewear and cheer loud. High School’s Spirit Club will run the show with plenty of games and other entertaining fun.
We invite all SCS families and staff members to cheer on our SCS Eagles at the following athletic events.
Monday, September 15
- 4:00pm – Varsity Boys Soccer Game @ SCS vs Kiel
- 4:00pm – JV Boys Soccer Game @ Sheboygan Lutheran vs University School of Milwaukee
Tuesday, September 16 (same day as all school picnic & Junior Eagles night)
- 4:30pm – Varsity Boys Soccer Game @ SCS vs University School of Milwaukee (NO COST TO ATTEND)
- 4:30pm – Varsity Cross Country Meet @ Sheboygan Lutheran
Thursday, September 18
- 5:30pm – JV and JV2 Girls Volleyball Game @ SCS vs Ozaukee
- 7:00pm – Varsity Girls Volleyball Game @ SCS vs Ozaukee
Friday, September 19
- 4:00pm – Varsity Boys Soccer Game @ Random Lake
- 7:00pm – Varsity Boys Football Game @ Kohler (Home) vs Brillion
Saturday, September 20
- 9:00am – JV Girls Volleyball Tournament @ Algoma
- 9:00am – Varsity Girls Volleyball Tournament @ Fox Valley Lutheran (Appleton)
- 10:00am – Varsity Cross Country Meet @ Saint Lawrence Seminary
SCS Community, you are invited to our all school community picnic! This event is FREE for SCS community members and a wonderful time of connection and fun! This year, we are excited to have the picnic take place alongside a Varsity Boys Soccer game and Junior Eagles night.
SCHEDULE
3:45 – 5:30pm – All School Community Picnic
4:30 – 6:00pm – Varsity Boys Soccer Game & Junior Eagles Night (no entrance fee)
* Picnic attendees are invited to attend the soccer game and cheer on our Eagles!

There are four options for parking:
- SCS Campus Parking: Very limited on-campus parking. Please don’t use this option if you are able to walk a couple of blocks. We would love to offer this to senior citizens.
- Streets around campus: Greenfield, S. 9th, S. 10th, S. 11th, or any other legal street parking. Please be good neighbors- don’t park in front of any driveways or fire hydrants.
- Shuttle parking lot 1: Bethany Reformed Church (1315 Washington Ave.). Shuttle service back and forth to campus for the entire event and after the soccer game.
- Shuttle parking lot 2: South High School (1240 Washington Ave.). Please park in the southern-most spots on the Washington Ave. parking lot. Shuttle service back and forth to SCS for the entire event and after the soccer game.
Powder Puff/Powder Buff | Sept 15 | 5:45-8:30pm
Powder Puff/Powder Buff is a competition where high school girls play football, and the high school guys play volleyball. Students have a lot of fun representing their classes in the competition. This is exclusively for high school students to attend.
Where: Meet on the SCS soccer field
What to wear: Upperclassmen (11-12) wear black and underclassmen (9-10) wear white
Cost: $5 for food (optional), student must sign up for food in advance
Description: After the soccer games (around 6ish), the students will head out to the soccer field and the girls will play flag football. After that, there will be a meal with sub sandwiches, which students need to sign up and pay $5 in advance for. Following the meal, the freshmen guys will play senior guys, and then sophomore guys will play junior guys. Before the end of the evening, the winning teams will play each other.
High School Homecoming Dance | Sep 20 | 8-10pm
This year’s Rio de Janeiro themed homecoming dance will take place in the brand-new cafeteria space. This event is exclusively for high school students. Students need to sign up in advance and pay $5 at the door. Students typically wear “formal” attire to this dance. Students and guests are asked to dress in compliance with the school dance dress code.
Guest Policy: We welcome high school students from other schools as long as approval is granted beforehand. Guest passes are available in the office and require at least 5 days for approval.
