Rebecca Koning
Middle School Teacher
Start Date: 2014
Education: Trinity Christian College, Bachelor of Arts, English Education
Bio:Rebecca has been married to her husband, Kyle, since January of my first year teaching. They have one daughter, Aly, who loves to go on “adventures” around Sheboygan with her mom. Both Kyle and Rebecca grew up in Michigan, but have loved the community they found here in Wisconsin. Kyle has always been a Packers fan, Rebecca was an easy convert; however, there’s no way Rebecca will stop cheering for the Michigan Wolverines. They currently attend First Reformed in Sheboygan Falls. Two of many reasons Rebecca is committed to the SCS mission include the words “partnership” and “academic excellence with Christ-centered learning.” When she went into education, she knew she wanted to teach in a Christian school because NOT talking about God in correlation to reading, writing, and history was not an option for her. She wants to teach students how to be excellent readers and writers so that they can use those skills to impact the world present and future. She also knows equipping these students to be world changers cannot be done just in her classroom, and therefore partnering with the community is crucial; she’s so grateful for the support she receives continually from the SCS community as we work together to raise kingdom-builders.
Jeanette Morris
Middle School Teacher
Start Date: 2017
Education: Concordia University Wisconsin- Bachelor or Arts, Elementary Education
Minors- Mathematics, Christian Education
I am so excited to be teaching Middle School Math, High School Pre-Algebra, and 4th and 6th grade Bible. The most rewarding part of teaching for me is seeing the progress of the students in their academic studies and faith journeys. I love being a part of the SCS community! Outside of school, I have many interests including crafts, cross-stitch, music, reading, swimming, volleyball, kayaking, and cooking/baking. There were a lot of new recipes I tried over the summer because I had access to organic produce from my summer job. I worked at Springdale Farm in Plymouth, and I still work on Saturdays now that school started. I also enjoy serving through volunteer opportunities at Christian Life Church. For two years, I have been a volunteer for Tim Tebow?s Night to Shine event. I also am part of a foster family support team. Fun fact: I have a twin sister … you may have seen her at the One Walk this year.

Joel’s deep hope for his students is that they will engage and wrestle with transformational learning for God’s glory.
