Brenda Reiskytl, 2025 Bob Ingelse Friend of Christian Education Award Winner
At our 2025 Association Meeting, The SCS Board of Trustees awarded our community’s fourth annual Bob Ingelse Friend of Christian Education Award. This award reads,”Our community’s highest honor, The Bob Ingelse Friend of Christian Education Award is annually given to individuals who are representations of our school’s Core Values:
- Pursues Academic Excellence
- Develops the Christian Mind
- Cultivates Spiritual Growth
- Encourages Biblical Self-Image
- Builds Strong Social Bonds
- Involves the Supporting Community
- Serves the Greater Community”
The 2025 award was given to Brenda Reiskytl. SCS Board Vice President Scott Warmus presented the award.

Mrs. Reiskytl has stepped in so many times throughout the years to substitute teach and give her talents to SCS. She selflessly came in at a crucial time for our students during the recent production of Clue and we are so blessed to have her as part of our community.
Both my kids absolutely love this woman. She spoke into their lives in significant ways. Her recent actions in support of the spring play are just the latest in her constant support of the school for many years. I appreciate her greatly.
