As One: The Official SCS Back to School Guide
SCS Community,
We are about to embark on one of the biggest transitions in the 123 years of our school’s existence. Anytime we go through transitions, there’s a big mix of emotions: excitement, nostalgia, anxiety, fear, and even euphoria.
Being “As One” on the 929 Greenfield Campus, creating Sheboygan’s first ever P-12 campus will be brand new to us. This means all new policies and procedures for our daily life. Earlier this year, we asked our school families what they felt was most important to know before next school year. The following represents our administrative team’s plan in response to your needs.
This list will be updated as planning progresses and more details become clear.
Please continue to be in prayer for our school leadership team, our amazing faculty and staff as we seek to best serve our partner families!

Hot Lunch Information
Hot lunch is available for 5K-12 students, beginning on Monday, August 30.
Hot lunch will be served on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays each week. Starting in October 2021, this will expand to Thursdays as well. On occasion, this schedule may be modified to accommodate shortened school weeks or unforeseen conflicts.
A lunch meal includes a main entrée, side item, salad, fresh fruit or veggies, and a dessert. Older students will have the option of purchasing two lunches if desired. The cost per meal is $3.75 (subject to change) and is available to all.
NEW THIS 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR: Hot lunch tickets are no longer ordered in the school office – everything will now be done online. Our online system has the ability to accept debit/credit cards as well as bank accounts for your family.
- To add hot lunch funds online for the first time, you will first need to accept the e-mail invitation from FACTS Management to set up an online hot lunch account. Any funds you enter will ONLY be used for hot lunch. They will not be used for any other reason. If you do not receive this e-mail, please call the school office and they can resend.
- Subsequent funds can be added to a family’s hot lunch account via the Sheboygan Christian Family Portal or the Sheboygan Christian School app (coming soon).
- Every time your student takes hot lunch, we will scan their barcode, and $3.75 will be subtracted from your family’s hot lunch balance. You will see this reflected on your family’s hot lunch account the next business day.
- If your account goes below $8, a Low Balance Alert e-mail will be sent out. Please do not wait until your student(s) are completely out of funds before adding money.
- If your account has a negative balance, your student(s) will not be able to take hot lunch.
Out of fairness to all families and to keep the hot lunch program running cost effectively, sharing food is not allowed. Additionally, there is no refund at the end of the school year for unused hot lunch funds, but funds will carry over in to the next school year.
If you have any questions about the hot lunch program, please do not hesitate to contact the
school office at 920-458-9981 or .
