SCS Welcomes Brian Huseland to the Team

Join us in welcoming Brian Huseland as our new 4th Grade Teacher!

Brian has taught for 25 years in Christian education in South Dakota, California, and Washington state, and is excited to join Sheboygan Christian School’s mission for the glory of God. The Lord used a Christian school to draw Brian to faith in the gospel, and called him to teaching in order to pass the torch to the next generation. Brian also served as a missionary to the United Kingdom with the International Presbyterian Church. Seeking to imitate Paul’s call to be all things to all people, Brian is now willing to trade the Seahawks for the Packers and go all in.

Brian and his wife Jennifer have five daughters: Alice, Mercy, Irene, Patience, and Lana Kay. The older girls are married and Brian is a proud grandfather of three. The Huseland family plans to attend Breakwater Orthodox Presbyterian Church.

Brian loves history, the outdoors, reading, gaming, and listening to people’s stories of the mercy of God.

Fun Fact: His father-in-law Willie Gesch used to teach at Sheboygan Christian High in the 1970’s. Brian is also left-handed.
