Staff Shuffle: New Faces, New Roles, Same Great Team!
One of the many blessings of a new school year is seeing how the Lord faithfully provides for our school community. This year brings a few exciting staff changes, some wonderful new additions, and many familiar faces continuing in the roles they know and love. We’re grateful for God’s guidance as He continues to equip our school with talented educators who are committed to serving Him by serving our students!
Elementary Updates
Some familiar faces are taking on new adventures this year!
Emily Jooss is stepping into the role of Reading Specialist! After teaching 3rd grade and providing reading intervention for grades 3–5, Emily will now have the opportunity to support readers across even more classrooms, helping students grow into confident, lifelong readers.
Mikayla Jackson is moving to 3rd Grade while continuing to provide reading intervention for grades 3–5. After teaching 4th grade and leading 4th and 5th grade ELA, she’s excited to welcome a new class of learners.
We’re also excited to welcome some wonderful new educators to our elementary team!
- Brian Huseland joins us as our 4th Grade Teacher and 4th & 5th Grade ELA Teacher.
- Ella Ten Pas will be welcoming our youngest learners as our new Kindergarten Teacher.
Middle & High School Updates
Our secondary students will also see some exciting additions this year!
- Jeff Garside joins us as our Middle and High School STEM Teacher, where he’ll inspire creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning.
- Abby Vis joins our middle school as our Science Teacher. She’ll be marrying fellow new teacher Logan Steinle on July 18, so if you hear us call her Abby Steinle this fall, you’ll know why! Congratulations to the happy couple!
- Logan Steinle joins our high school as our English and Social Studies Teacher, bringing his passion for literature, history, and learning to our students.
We are thankful to the Lord for each member of our school community. Whether they’re returning to the same role, stepping into a new opportunity, or joining our school family for the first time, each member of our team brings unique gifts, enthusiasm, and a heart for helping students grow academically and spiritually. We praise God for His faithful provision and look forward to seeing how He will work through our staff in the year ahead.
