New Special Education Teacher

Join us in welcoming Alyssa Pasiewicz as our Special Education Teacher!

Alyssa Pasiewicz is so excited to move to Sheboygan and join the SCS Team! Alyssa is originally from the suburbs of Chicago (Yes- Go Bears and Cubs!!) but made her way down to the warm weather to earn bachelor’s degrees in Deaf Education (PreK-12) and Elementary Education (K-6) from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. While at Flager, Alyssa was on the Women’s Cross Country Team. After college, she was a Teacher of the Deaf in Jacksonville, Florida for 4 years. Eventually, Alyssa felt the pull to be closer to her family in the Midwest so she moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin and was a Teacher of the Deaf for 4 years. In addition to teaching, Alyssa led sign language clubs and coached volleyball, basketball and track in Green Bay. She learned quickly that Green Bay was still not close enough to family and is looking forward to moving to Sheboygan and being closer to family in Oostburg and at the border of IL/WI.

Alyssa is so excited to be able to openly and freely speak about her relationship with God at school and with students, and she can’t wait to see how God works in the lives of the students. Not only that, but she is eager and thankful for the opportunity for students under the umbrella of Special Education to receive an education with a Christian focus! What a gift!

In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys reading, traveling, playing sports, spending time with family, and hiking. She was attending Spring Lake Church in Green Bay. Alyssa is looking forward to SCS and the small town feel. She cannot wait to connect with the community and plant roots in the area!
