What is SCRIP and how does it work: The SCS SCRIP program is a great way to raise funds for yourself and school at the same time. It is as simple as buying gift cards for purchases you would already be making. The businesses donate a percentage of that gift card back to the school. Percentages range from 2%-16% (sometimes more!). The majority of that percentage goes to you, and school receives the remaining portion. You can pick where you want your proceeds to be applied within your school account: your tuition account, your student(s) hot lunch account, or you can donate to a teacher account.
How do I purchase SCRIP gift cards? You can order SCRIP online, where you can find an even wider variety of vendors. Simply follow these step-by-step instructions to set up your online account and earn free money!
