Wisconsin State Senator LeMahieu (’91) & Representative Katsma (’76) Visit SCS

Wisconsin State Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu (’91) and Representative Terry Katsma (’76) recently visited Sheboygan Christian School. The two elected officials, both SCS Alumni, came to see the progress of our school building project, talk about leadership and service, and to help the 5th grade class with their Foundational Learning Experience (FLEx) that focuses on the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program.

Students were eager to ask questions about politics, government, elections, and our state. Both men were very generous with their time as they engaged with SCS students, faculty, administration and stakeholders.

Our school’s vision statement reads, “Sheboygan Christian School will impact the world, both near and far, for Jesus Christ.” These two SCS Alumni are tremendous examples of graduates living out that vision every day. We are thankful for them and pray for their continued successful and productive leadership and service for the people that they represent and the entire state of Wisconsin.
