New 1st Grade Teacher

Join us in welcoming Bevin Tislau as our newest 1st Grade Teacher!

Due to our need to have two 1st grade classes next year, we are thrilled to announce that Bevin Tislau will be our additional 1st grade teacher! Bevin is married to Andy, a Sheboygan native, and has lived in our community since 2011. They have three daughters, Faith (11), Grace (5), and Joy (3)—all who now attend SCS. Bevin was raised in Michigan where she attended a Christian school grades K – 12. Andy is a Sheboygan Christian alum who attended our school, along with his 3 siblings, grades K – 12. Their combined experiences have made Christian education a huge priority in their hearts and home.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University, Bevin has spent the past 10 years helping her husband run their Chiropractic office in Sheboygan. Her time has been devoted to their business, taking care of their daughters, volunteering at church, volunteer teaching in a local home school co-op, and drinking lots of coffee. While growing their practice has been an amazing experience, she decided to further her education and follow God’s call on her heart to start a new chapter as a teacher.

This year, while working toward completing her master’s degree in Education, Bevin has been working at SCS helping in our 3K and 5K classrooms. She also helps with virtual education and substitute teaches across grade levels. Bevin is absolutely thrilled to be joining our staff full-time in the 2021-22 school year as our new 1stgrade teacher! She says, “I am so excited to have the opportunity to help further God’s Kingdom by teaching our students at SCS about who He is and how they can find their place in His family, serving the world around them for His Glory!” Bevin and her family attend Crossroads Community Church in Sheboygan where they are blessed with an amazing church family and opportunities to serve and grow in Christ. She loves reading, baking, coffee, spending time with her friends and family, and all things Christmas.
