Bob Ross Celebration

As a conclusion to the Advanced Painting class this spring, students spent a week channeling their “inner Bob Ross!” The first few days they learned his process to make “happy little trees” and “happy little clouds”– among other things! They spent the remainder of the week experimenting with different brushes and techniques painting alongside Bob in real time! For a little Friday fun, they shared their work with each other in an art show and indulged in cookies with edible paint. Finally, they reflected on how Bob Ross lived out his Christian beliefs as a celebrity.
