Military academics in the United States offer an excellent option for students who are interested in serving the country and receiving an education at no cost. All five of the undergraduate military academics have different admissions requirements and all require at least five years of service upon graduation. See links below for more information.
If you are at least 17 years old and interested in joining the military and finding a way to pay for school, the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) may be a good option for you. Being apart of this program, students receive the education necessary to excel as future officers in the Army, Navy and Air Force.
During school, ROTC members attend like any other college or university student. ROTC classes are a requirement as well as other training programs over the summer, depending on the branch. Upon graduation, you won't have to search for a job. You'll be enlisted as an officer in your respective branch. A 4-10 year commitment is required based on military branch.
