| Administrator | My greatest joy about being an administrator is sharing my love of Jesus Christ with more people! I believe I have been called by God to share the vision of Christian Education with as many people as possible. Maintaining a distinctly Christian, excellent curriculum is what sets us apart as a school. |

| 3 & 4 year old Kindergarten Teacher | One of the greatest rewards of teaching is witnessing the joy and excitement on children’s faces when they are engaged in their learning and proud of their accomplishments. Another special reward is hearing children excitedly relate the day’s events to their parents. |

| Teacher's Aide | It has been such a blessing working with a staff dedicated to the Lord and to the students. My job in the resource room gives me the opportunity to interact with 4th graders, 5k, lunch with 3 and 4 year olds, study hall and math with middle school. Every child in this school is a special, unique creation by God and I thank Him every day for the blessing this job and these children have been in my life. |

| First Grade Teacher | I feel so privileged to be working here at SCS! I marvel at the way my students grow and change as they strive to do their best for God each day. Honoring God, showing His love towards others, and unlocking the many amazing things there are to learn about our awesome God and His world are all a part of what makes each day with my students a blessing. I especially love sharing great books with my students and helping them to begin their own awesome journey as they become independent readers themselves. God is good! |

| Third Grade Teacher | I am excited to be teaching third grade and feel blessed to be working alongside such dedicated teachers as these. In third grade we begin reading the familiar Bible stories directly from the Bible itself -- the first time for many. Throughout all the subjects we investigate and marvel at the workings of God's intricate world and challenge ourselves to find our role in taking care of it. |

| Fifth Grade Teacher | I love watching a student who has been struggling with a concept for a while light up when he/she finally gets it! It humbly reminds me of this verse, "'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Jeremiah 29:11 |

| Middle School Teacher | I enjoy teaching very much; the variety in the student’s personalities and abilities makes every day and every class period unique. It is especially gratifying to see students grow in their knowledge of God and His creation and then see them later in life continue to walk faithfully before God in different careers. |

| Art Teacher | I love teaching. I love art. Art is universal, non-verbal language. Because we are created in the image of God, we all have the God-given ability to create. My privilege as an art teacher is to teach, encourage, and coach students in creative expression that glorifies God while helping them to develop skills in a wide variety of art media. Using the elements of art and the principles of design. Students explore media ranging from pencils, pastels, and paint to wire, clay, and papier mache. Throughout the year, students are exposed to a variety of famous artists, their masterpieces, and styles of art. It thrills me when students experience gratifying success in their creative expression and when they discover the media and style of art they most enjoy. "In teaching, I am taught." |

| Music Teacher | In 1997 I joined the SCS staff as the general music/choir teacher. I have the unique opportunity to teach music to students in 5K through 8th grade. The Christian atmosphere in the school allows me to incorporate God into every aspect of music. Philippians 1:6 has special meaning to me as a music teacher : " The one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion." The most rewarding part of my job is helping students to develop the talents/gifts that God has given to them and using these talents to bring glory to God. |

I absolutely love my job at SCS! No two days are ever the same. The building is filled with great signs of the Holy Spirit at work. I have the great privilege to serve Christ by serving the students, parents, grandparents, supporters, teachers, administration team, custodians and visitors. Along with that, I am allowed to see the many ways in which God provides for His children and His school. I am humbled and honored to hold this position.
