Faculty
All of our faculty have at least a bachelor's degree and State of Wisconsin Department of Instruction certification.  All faculty members are required to continue their education

More importantly, all the faculty and staff have professed a personal relationship with God and have made themselves accountable to Him for all they say and do.

Administrator

My greatest joy about being an administrator is sharing my love of Jesus Christ with more people!  I believe I have been called by God to share the vision of Christian Education with as many people as possible.  Maintaining a distinctly Christian, excellent curriculum is what sets us apart as a school.

One of the greatest rewards of teaching is witnessing the joy and excitement on children’s faces when they are engaged in their learning and proud of their accomplishments. Another special reward is hearing children excitedly relate the day’s events to their parents.

The best thing about teaching is having the privilege of seeing the children's wonder and awe as they encounter God's amazing creation.

The joy I find in teaching is seeing the world through children's eyes and watching them discover God through His creation.

I feel so privileged to be working here at SCS!  I marvel at the way my students grow and change as they strive to do their best for God each day.  Honoring God, showing His love towards others, and unlocking the many amazing things there are to learn about our awesome God and His world are all a part of what makes each day with my students a blessing.  I especially love sharing great books with my students and helping them to begin their own awesome journey as they become independent readers themselves.  God is good!

I feel blessed to be a part of the big picture of helping kids learn more about who God is by learning about his world.  More specifically, I love reading to and with kids, seeing them learn about the joys of reading for pleasure.

Third grade is such a transition year into more independent thinking and work. I am again encouraged by the effort each of these precious students of God make toward achieving our goals of being responsible for our own work.

I recently graduated from Dordt College and am very excited about my opportunity to teach at SCS. The school is a nuturing Christian environment that has a reputation for providing excellent Christian education.  Who wouldn't want to be a part of that!

I love watching a student who has been struggling with a concept for a while light up when he/she finally gets it!  It humbly reminds me of this verse, "'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Jeremiah 29:11

I enjoy teaching very much; the variety in the student’s personalities and abilities makes every day and every class period unique. It is especially gratifying to see students grow in their knowledge of God and His creation and then see them later in life continue to walk faithfully before God in different careers.

There are many joys about teaching, but my greatest pleasure comes from the success you feel at the end of the day when you know you have taught one kid one thing - or a whole class a whole lot of things, it doesn't matter. Seeing the light bulb go on is one of the greatest joys anyone can imagine.

I have been teaching at SCS for 25 great years.  I have many joys to share about teaching!  I love a good discussion.  One of my greatest joys is an honest question which shows interest in the material.  I have enjoyed coaching soccer, basketball, softball, and track.  I love working with kids.  I love to see former students with families, working and serving Jesus Christ.

I am truly passionate about bringing my students to a deeper understanding of themselves, the content, and the Lord. All of these things are so obviously occurring at SCS and I believe God smiles upon this school as much as I do as a teacher. I couldn't be more excited about joining the staff here and watching God use me as his ambassador in this school to these students, parents, and faculty.

Music Teacher

In 1997 I joined the SCS staff as the general music/choir teacher.  I have the unique opportunity to teach music to students in 5K through 8th grade.  The Christian atmosphere in the school allows me to incorporate God into every aspect of music.  Philippians 1:6 has special meaning to me as a music teacher :  " The one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion."  The most rewarding part of my job is helping students to develop the talents/gifts that God has given to them and using these talents to bring glory to God.

I am excited to be part of God's family at Sheboygan Christian. There is nothing more important than securing the eternal future of our children. Providing more children the opportunity to see Christ revealed every day is why we are moving to a new campus. It is a blessing to see our Father's hand guide us on this journey.

At SCS I have the great privilege of seeing the "behind the scene".  I am honored and humbled that God allows me to witness His great and creative providence in all aspects of the school, from a single student struggle of a lost mitten to the struggle of a huge financial matter. God always provides! My favorite saying of late is "when the need is great, the blessing is even greater". All thanks, praise and glory are given to God.
