Test Score Information
Sheboygan Christian School administers the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS) to its third, fifth, sixth, and seventh graders. This aptitude test measures a student’s general academic ability when compared against other students in a similar age range. In order to have the most accurate results, we compare our students to those of local public schools and other private schools across the country. The first graph illustrates excellent scores when compared to other similar, private schools. Take a look at previous test scores here.
Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam (WKCE)
In fourth and eighth grades, Sheboygan Christian School administers the Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam (WKCE). This test is given to all public school students in Wisconsin and is designed to measure students’ knowledge of the Wisconsin Standards as set forth by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. It rates students as “Advanced,” “Proficient,” “Basic,” or “Minimal Performance” in the subject areas of reading, language arts, math, science and social studies. Sheboygan is one of the top districts in the state. As the second and third graphs indicate, our students are well-prepared academically for the future.
